Establishing a good partnership with parents and carers is a priority for everyone here at Carrfield Primary Academy. We firmly believe that a successful school is a result of the combined efforts of staff, children and parents and we encourage you to take an active role in your children’s education.
We aim to be as transparent and open as possible in all we do and we welcome any questions or suggestions that you might have about your child or about Carrfield Primary Academy in general. We will work hard to ensure that we communicate regularly with parents and carers and that you are always up-to-date with our activities and our plans for the future.
We always encourage parents to support their child’s learning outside school, and want to build a close and positive relationship with you. We also have a Safeguarding and Families Officer (Mrs. Ramsbottom) who works to help children and their parents overcome barriers to learning which may be affecting their well-being and participation in school life. She can also help parents with worries which may be causing concern with their child’s education or behaviour. You can come along and chat in complete confidence with Mrs. Ramsbottom most mornings. While we may not have all the answers, we firmly believe we can work together to find them.
